Aside from nourishing yourself there are some added benefits of going on a plant based eating plan.  Think about it.  This plan is all about adding in super nutritious foods that are rich in polyphenols and anti-oxidants. 

Plant based foods are rich in vitamins and minerals which give your body the enzymes and nutrients it needs to function.  There is a reason why Health Canada has updated their guidelines to encourage following a plant based eating plan and increase the intake of plant based proteins.  The research is out and here are some of the benefits.
